What is RB Project Q ?
Robert Braithwaite Project Qureshi is a Social Enterprise.
Our mission to advance Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgical Training and Associated Medical Training and Technologies Locally, Nationally and Internationally.

A Social Enterprise is a business with a specific social objective as its primary purpose. We seek to maximize our profit-making potential so that we may maximize our benefit to society.
​
In the early stages we are raising funds to build an Enterprise and Innovation Centre, here in Poole, to support the delivery of our mission.
​
Once the building is completed, we will be able to switch our focus to providing the teaching, training & R&D parts of the project …. That is RB Project Q

The Launch
RB Project Q was launched by Robert Eaton on 6th January 2017 at the London Boat Show on behalf of Sunseeker International Ltd founder Mr Robert Braithwaite CBE, DL. The launch followed the donation of a da Vinci Xi Robotic System to the people of Poole under the lead of Professor Tahseen Qureshi.
The Reason ...
What is the motivation for me, Robert Eaton, to build a state of the art Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgical Training Centre in Poole?
The story begins in 2009 when our son Ryan died from an Aortic Dissection aged 17 and a half, due to a condition known as Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome …. Our world nearly ended.

Re-Launch of RB Project Q 12 August 2023
Supported by the Combined Services Rugby Union15s Tournament at Poole RFC.
An amazing day of Rugby, great sportsmanship and of raising awareness of RB Project Q took place. On behalf of the late RB Robert Braithwaite CBE, Professor Tahseen Qureshi and myself, RB Project Q would like to pass on our heartfelt thanks. I am so humbled and proud of everyone who took part and supported from near and afar. Thank you.
