The Vision

A picture paints a thousand words and a video goes even further.  Please have a look at our video and see the RB Project Q vision.

The RB Project Q planning proposal received nothing but praise from RFS customers, the community and on social media which resulted in no objections and a staggering 127 official written comments of support.

Despite the “battle” with officialdom and it was a “battle”, RB Project Q was given Outline Planning Permission with effect from 10th March 2023.

My thanks to Malcom Whitehead for producing these amazing renderings….

What the vision that is RB Project Q could look like. What WE could achieve here in little old Poole….A state of the art #Robotic Training Facility…truly ”Blue Sky Thinking”.

Visit to CMR Surgical Facility

CMR Surgical and “VERSIUS” is a “relatively new ”British robotics company.  I am extremely humbled and grateful that Joshua made contact, came and saw the RB Project Q vision… and then invited me up to CMR to visit.  What an experience!  I was able to visit the robotics production and RnD facility and the HQ and training facility…A real look behind the curtain!
Not being a surgeon I was easily impressed … star struck more like… Nevertheless with my fat dodgy  arthritic fingers I was able to remove the black thread and relocate with comparative ease and comfort!

Go me!  Move over Tas 😜🤣🤣…

Seriously.  Skills gained from training from the most basic …How it works?  To the most complex procedure… 🤷‍♂…are vital!
Skills that only come from “drilling” like weapons drills… back in the day.  So every move is second nature.  For me this and other “learning experiences” I have been privileged to attend reinforce the importance of RB Project Q.
